  1. Lauren, I know you heart is grieving and that we are all saddened by your father's last journey, but oh, what a glorious reunion there will be when we all meet up again. Please know that you, your mother and your sister are in my prayers and that we will see him in the morning. I pray the Comforter is cradling you now and that you feel our Lord’s presence in your father’s absence. God’s mighty blessings and comfort be upon you.

    Love,
    Your Cousin Vicki

  2. Lauren: After we received a call from Wendy this morning, Gloria and I cried a little, prayed and were thankful for all the loved ones that are there to help you in this time of need. You, your siste and Mom are poster children for bravery---but then you dad did a great job at being one himself.

You know there is an old Jimmy Dean song where a father looks in on his sleeping daughter and basically tells a story of her then and what he thinks she will become and how quickly time will pass. At the end of it, he says that, "As for me, I am a little older, a little sadder but a whole lot richer!" That sort of sums it up when I think of your dad for how he left many of us. God bless him and his "queens."

  3. We miss Larry already -- yet we rejoice that he could be relived of his earthly struggles. It has been a blessing to us to live so close for nearly 20 years. Our prayers are with you during these trying days and on into the future.

We do love all of you so much.

  5. Lauren-Beth forwarded your blog to us on Tuesday. We were so saddened to learn your Dad had brain cancer. We last remember having a good time with him at Jenny's wedding. Please know we pray for comfort and peace for your family during this difficult time. I know your father is now is His home and watching over you all. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

  7. this made me cry. your dad was an AMAZING man. i will never, ever forget our trip to californios, your parents coming to eat dinner, and when he came home with you while you got some clothes to take home. his life and his smiles are a strong witness to how good our God is.

  8. I feel very sorry for all of you in your loss. Larry and I grew up in Hydro and his grandmother jus lived two houses down from us. My sister Susan graduated from high school with larry, but I was a couple of years younger. I want all of you to know my family's thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time of sorrow. We know that Larry is in a better place now and his pain is all gone. With Love Everett Baker

  9. This is both a sad and thankful time. Sad that Larry isn't there to make our day a little more cheerful with his smile and "never met a stranger" personality. Thankful that Larry has been brought home to live forever more in God's presence. May we all be so blessed as to leave the legacy of love and laughter that defined our friend Larry Heidebrecht - Jim & Joyce
