Final Note

I don't think I can continue this blog.
I do not plan on posting anything else, but I will leave the blog up for those of you who would like to be able to continue reading back through it.
Again, thank you for all of your support, and all of the memories that you made and shared with us. We love you.

  1. I read it all again. You are a gifted observer of life, Lauren. I love your commentaries. This was a torturous time and yet you became an eloquent commentator for a time we may all face. I'm thinking of you at this time of the year - thinking of your beautiful mother, sweet sister and brave you. Quite the trifecta! Larry left himself a legacy of special women.

  3. Lauren, I worked with your dad at Indiana Pork Producers...late 70's early 80's. He met your mom while I worked there. I had tried an unsuccessful google search for Larry a couple of years ago but today I was looking for some information re: the pork industry and decided to give a Larry Heidebrecht search another try. Bam, right at the top was your dad's obituary...of course, totally unexpected but not a shock. No disrespect intended...just so much cancer. Two of my friends have young grandkids (one 4, one 6) with cancer...hate, hate, hate it. My remembrance words for your dad during, and after, work hours would be fun and goofy...I am sure you experienced much of them during your life with Larry J. Life goes on and I hope you and your sister and your mom are enjoying everyday!
